Simple Halloween Nail Art

I painted an easy mani that you guys can try. I just painted my nails white and used a fanbrush to create the design using two different colors. You can watch this tutorial by Simple Nail Art Designs if your unsure on how to do this but it really easy.

Fall Watercolor Nails

Even though I absolutely hate Fall, because it gets so cold and it means winter is coming which means snow and ice, I figured i should paint some nails with some fall colors. I definitely wanted a tribal print because I think that is very Fall time and i love tribal print nails. Then I picked out so many colors that I just figured I should do a watercolor because then I could use them all and it will look like the changing leaves.

Galaxy Nail Art With Studs

I recently bought nail art decorations from the Born Pretty Store and thought it would be cool to use them with a galaxy design. I remembered seeing a galaxy done by the Nailasaurus that I really liked because it had white space on the sides which made it different from most galaxy nails you would see if you Google galaxy nails.

Glequin Gradients

Look everyone I bought some glequins and studs from the bornpretty store. So after I got all that stuff I obviously had to do some cute nails right away.

I decided to do a glequin gradient because I love gradients duh. And once I started placing them I realized that it was going to take for ever if I did all my nails. Instead of all nails with gradients i used my new studs for accent nails.

New Nail Decorations

Look at these awesome Bornpretty Store stuff I  just got bought and received in the mail. I bought rhinestones, Gold Studs, silver holographic Glequins (which is #1), and Round and Square fluorescent studs. The studs are kind of small, which makes me wish I got 3mm ones, so I filed my nails shorter. But they are very bright, neon, pastel, and beautiful. If you get any these make sure you use a few layers of top coat to make sure they never fall off.

August Challenge: Bold Nail Art

  I didn't really know what bold nails were, probably since to most people all of my nail art could be considered kind bold because its not just plain and one color nail polish. So I looked up bold nails and somehow got the idea for doing some pop artish type nails

August Challenge: Ombre Nail Art

 For this days challenge I didn't just want to do like an ombré gradient. Then I thought it would be cool to splatter in different shades of the same color ,but before starting i was looking at nail art on Google and saw paint drip nails and in my head saw a gradient with the darker shade dripping down to the white.

August Challenge: Stripes

Stripes can be pretty boring. And I couldn't think of anything to make stripes cooler that hasn't been done. So being completely uninspired I just painted this simple little design with just black and white.
I guess they are better than stripes that just go in one direction.

August Challenge: Animal Print

I wish I could of done an animal print that hasn't been done before. I tried a could not find a good print. Instead to make the Zebra print nails look cooler and more unique I made them rainbow. For the background to the stripes I used yellow as a base color then sponged a gradient using pink, orange, and yellow. Then with green, blue, and purple made zebra stripes.

August Challenge: Cutesy Nails

Fox Nails! I've tried to paint a fox on my nails a few times and I always mess up and just give up. This time  I did a simpler fox so u wouldn't mess up again. If you are wondering where the sparkle themed nails are I was busy that day with relay for life so I decided not to do that day at all.

I'm really loving the show Once Upon A Time and thought the logo would be a really cool nail art design.

August Challenge: Character Nails

Since character is the challenge today I decided to paint these Phineas And Ferb characters. I painted Phineas, Ferb, Candace and Jeremy's outfits and Perry the Platypus. I have actually painted these before but I never was able to blog them and don't know where the pictures are at. Plus that was back when i used paint for a lot of my nail art so I'm sure these look a lot better than the last time.

To get the colors for these i had to do a lot of mixing of my polishes.

August Challenge: Re-Creation Nail Art

Day number twos challenge was to re-create another's design for this I decided to paint Pshiiit's design you can view it here

I started with two coats of Opi nail envy then one coat of China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat. For the base color I used one coat of  Opi Don't Pretzel My Buttons. Once that was dry I painted squiggly lines in all different directions not completely covering up the base color. For that I used Nichole by Opi's Naturally and Hit The Lights, Opi Did It On 'Em, Sinful Shine's Royal Flush and Sally Hanson's Maximum Growth Plus in Copper Glamour. For the Ikat look I used my skinniest brush making like little tick marks and the black I used is Orly Liquid Vinyl.
